I was going to call this article “re-post of the week,” but then I realized that might not be an accurate title. It is Monday, after all (ugh), and not only have I not talked to Dan or Kara in 48 hours (hey, are you guys okay? I meant to ask…) but I also realized – I don’t know what’s going to happen this week! Maybe EPA will create the funniest YouTube video in the history of the Internet, and then I’ll be stuck without a way to re-post it.
So, instead, we have your repost of the day – Monday! This one is from one of my all time favorite websites, Cracked.com, which features such hilarity as “Five movies that could be fixed with just one word” (no, seriously, check it out), “The 7 Most Baffling Things About Women’s Clothing,” and the always entertaining category of “photoplasty.”
Currently, they’re hitting home with this article, “5 Seemingly Innocent Ways You’ve Screwed The World Today” – some of which I have to admit I am occasionally guilty of. I’ve been trying to break my habit for weeks now of leaving my cell phone chargers and laptop plugged in even when the device isn’t in use (and even missed the bus once over it), and have only recently resolved to buy only recycled household products (that includes, in case you’re wondering, tp, paper towels, napkins, aluminum foil, and all my detergents and cleaners). But this is a good wake up call (presented in a highly entertaining way) about the truth of being a consumer in the modern age. So, enjoy this and their other hilarious articles over your lunch break, and maybe by Tuesday we’ll be awake enough to post something of our own.
